Challenge
Steep terrain and large-scale coverage required a strong and efficient irrigation system that could provide consistent water distribution and centralized control. Another challenge was transporting water from a distant reservoir to several pivot points throughout the site.
Resolution
Metzer ATC (a subsidiary of the Metzer Group in Southeast Asia) delivered a fully automated system consisting of 11 center pivots, each operating on a 20-hour rotation cycle. The project included land surveying, hydraulic design, supply, installation, system commissioning, and operator training.
To ensure reliable water delivery, Metzer also built a floating pumping station at the water source, a reinforced pump house, and a main pipeline network to supply all pivot units—overcoming elevation challenges and ensuring consistent pressure throughout the entire field.
